Subscribing to our newsletter is completely optional. By subscribing, you agree to receive occasional emails from Pyxion Labs about new game releases, major updates, and studio news. We send emails infrequently and only when there is something genuinely worth sharing. You can unsubscribe at any time with a single click — every email includes an unsubscribe link. We do not send spam.
Games downloaded from Pyxion Labs are provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use. Do not redistribute, sell, or claim ownership of our games. Games are provided "as is" — while we test carefully, we cannot guarantee they will run on every configuration. Our games are independently developed and may contain bugs; please report any issues via our social channels.
By submitting a comment on our website, you confirm that your comment does not contain offensive, harmful, or illegal content. Any visitor to our website — signed in or not — may submit a report using the Report feature accessible from the Settings menu or the footer of the page. This feature exists to help us maintain a safe, functional, and fair platform for everyone.

How it works:
Data collected during a report: The name you enter, the text of your report, and — only if you choose to provide it — your email address. No other data (such as your IP address, device, session ID, or account details beyond the name you enter) is collected or transmitted as part of a report.
How we use your email address (if provided): Your email address is used solely to send you a reply regarding the specific report you submitted. We do not add it to any mailing list, store it in our database, share it with any third party, or use it for any purpose beyond responding to your report. The email is transmitted via EmailJS over HTTPS and exists only within our studio inbox once delivered. If you submitted a data deletion request and provided your email, we will use it to confirm when the deletion has been completed.
Data deletion requests: If you submit a report requesting the deletion of personal data you accidentally shared on any Pyxion Labs platform, we will investigate and take reasonable steps to locate and remove the data as quickly as possible. If you provided your email address in the report, we will send a confirmation once the deletion is complete. Note that data stored in comments is tied to your session ID and display name — we can delete specific comments upon a verified request.
Abuse of the report feature: Do not submit false, malicious, or deliberately misleading reports. Do not use the report feature to harass other users or make bad-faith data deletion requests. We reserve the right to ignore reports that are clearly abusive or made in bad faith.

We take reasonable precautions to protect your data. All communications with our Supabase database use HTTPS encryption. Newsletter data is managed by MailerLite which maintains industry-standard security practices. Game suggestions and reports are transmitted via EmailJS over HTTPS. However, no system is 100% secure — by using this website you acknowledge this inherent limitation.
We may update these Terms & Conditions occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Pyxion Labs is an independent, self-funded studio run by a single developer. We are transparent about our limitations and want you to fully understand what we are and are not responsible for.
Regarding your personal data and privacy:
We do not collect, store, or process any personal data about you beyond what is explicitly described in these Terms — and even that is minimal. We do not collect your IP address, device information, location, browser fingerprint, or any personally identifiable information through our website. Because we do not hold this data, we cannot be held responsible for any breach, leak, or misuse of personal information that we never had in the first place. If you voluntarily share personal information — such as your real name in a comment or a report — that is your own choice and we are not liable for any consequences arising from it.
Regarding third-party services:
To keep Pyxion Labs running without cost, we rely on a number of free third-party services including Supabase, EmailJS, MailerLite, Netlify, and Font Awesome. These services are each operated by their own companies under their own privacy policies, terms of service, and security practices. While we have chosen reputable providers and believe them to be trustworthy, we cannot control, audit, or guarantee the behaviour of any third-party platform. In the event that any of these services experiences a data breach, outage, change in privacy policy, or any other incident that affects users of our website, Pyxion Labs cannot be held liable for damages or losses arising from those incidents. We strongly encourage you to review the privacy policies of each third-party service listed in Section 11 of these Terms.
Regarding our games:
Every game developed and distributed by Pyxion Labs through our official website (pyxion-labs.netlify.app) and our official itch.io page is safe to download and play. We personally build, test, and package every game ourselves — no third-party code, no bundled software, no hidden executables. Our games do not contain viruses, malware, spyware, adware, or any harmful software of any kind. If Windows Defender or another antivirus flags a game on first launch, this is a false positive caused by the fact that our releases are not signed with a paid code-signing certificate — a cost we currently cannot afford as an independent studio. The files themselves are completely clean. You can verify this by scanning any download with your antivirus before running it. We will never knowingly distribute anything harmful, and if you ever have concerns about a specific file, please use the Report feature or contact us directly and we will address it immediately.
General limitation of liability:
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pyxion Labs and its developer(s) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of this website, our games, or any third-party service we link to or rely upon. Our website and games are provided free of charge and on an "as is" basis — we make no warranties, express or implied, beyond our genuine commitment to quality and transparency described in these Terms.
